Our Roots
The origins of our company can be traced back to New York, where our sister company, Wall Street Financial Group, Inc. (“WSFG”) was founded in New York. WSFG, a FINRA (formerly NASD)/SIPC licensed brokerage firm, operates in all 50 US states. With the US market successfully covered by WSFG, Wall Street Global was established to cater to banks, brokerage firms, family offices, financial intermediaries, insurance firms, pension funds and financial institutions operating outside the U.S.
Our company devised an internet based mutual fund trading platform for delivering innovative and effective mobile solutions for our clients. We were recognized in August 1999 by Forbes Magazine as “the only company that specializes in selling offshore funds over the internet.” With a wide variety of funds, the ease of trading over the internet and 24-hour client support, offshore mutual fund trading for the investor has never been made more convenient.
Our business model targets the offshore market through our exclusive trading platform that provides non-U.S. investors with a single point of entry into the world of offshore mutual funds. Backed with real-time fund data and statistics from one of the most-renowned investment information providers, Lipper (a Reuters company), we work with numerous custodian banks to offer distribution of more than 30,000 unique offshore mutual funds.
Our business has also now evolved into the alternative investment space so that we are able to offer clients products and services, capital introductions and tailor made investments into hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity funds and a diverse selection of structured products.
